The God of all Comfort

As I reflect on the past two years and all that Will and I have experienced trying to conceive our sweet little boy, I am reminded of one of favorite scriptures in which I read daily to get me through the end of the day.

2 Corinthians 1:3 reads as follows, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."

This is significant here and now because this past Sunday, Will and I connected with a young woman who happens to be experiencing the same process that we went through and with our doctor in Lubbock. Her journey, in my opinon, has been a little rougher than mine. I realized that our meeting was not by chance. I believe that our experience for the past two years was revealed as a blessing to us through the oppurtunity to share it all with this nice young woman. God has a wonderful plan in our lives and He uses us for His glory if we just allow Him to.
