I know this is a late entry, however, I have not been feeling up to par lately. I wanted to remember one of the most memorable days of this pregnancy thus far. On May 3, Will and I traveled our last miles to Lubbock for our last sono and doctor's appointment with Dr. Dorsett (until next time). It was bittersweet, but as I've been saying, it sure is nice to have just one doctor now and feel like a normal patient again.
The sonogram, which of course will be posted at a later date, was absolutley the most beautiful thing I have seen in a long time. Baby Wyatt has grown from the size of a peanut to the size of a large strawberry at 11 weeks. It was a perfect image of our baby! Then the most magical part, which I was not expecting at all, was seeing "him" move "his" little arms and legs and even try to turn over! Tears instantly started flowing and all I could say was "that is amazing!". As we laid there and watched the movements, I kept thinking, "I wish you were already here!". I remember the doctor kept calling it a "he" and she said that "he" was very docile. We asked if she could determine the sex yet, but she said it was to early and she predicted that it was a boy. As we were leaving and saying our goodbyes to everyone, they all asked for her prediction and said that she is usually right! They are all so eager to know what it is.
As I close, I want to say that we could not have been happier with our experience with Dr. Dorsett and her staff. They made this whole journey about as pleasant as it could be. We would and will highly suggest her to anyone who must go thorough this process.
